visionary!

our logo is a clear, distinct reflection of our vision statement, “passion for Christ, compassion for people.” we are a congregation connected to and involved with the dynamic urban mosaic that is the twin cities. we desire to live-out the directive to God’s people given through the prophet Jeremiah, “seek the peace and well-being of the city to which I have carried you into exile. pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you to will prosper” (Jeremiah 29:7). here is a logo that propels our mission into the community.

artistic!

this logo is a piece of art. it will elicit response and conversation, and for this reason our logo is not a “safe” choice. instead it is vibrant, energetic, and unique - a logo that grabs one’s attention. the rays of light in the background reflect God’s grace extended to all in our community as well as the dawning of a new day of Jesus’ ministry in our midst. here is a call to hear God’s question in Isaiah 43:19, “see, I am doing a new thing! now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” we affirm the observation of j. oswald sanders, “the frontiers of the kingdom of God were never advanced by men and women of caution.”

view of the church!

the logo speaks of a congregation that is involved and invested in the community, instead of being separate and distant. it speaks of a congregation that is alive, vigorous, full of the life and possibilities that reflect the Lord of the city - Jesus Christ. also note that the church is pictured on solid ground, standing firm, a reflection of its permanence.
