As a congregation located in south Minneapolis, we understand that God is calling us into a transforming relationship with the dynamic urban mosaic that is the Twin Cities.

We desire to live-out the directive to God's people given through the prophet Jeremiah, "Seek the peace & well-being of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."

"Passion for Christ, Compassion for People" is a vision statement reflecting the core of our ministry:

"Passion for Christ" speaks of a strong, vibrant focus on Jesus as the core & center of our faith community. We joyfully proclaim that Jesus Christ is the Savior & Lord of the Universe who invites all persons to find joy, life, & hope through an ongoing encounter with Himself.

"Compassion for People" reflects our desire to share the mercy of Jesus with all persons. The Gospel of Matthew notes, "When Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them." We are seeking to be a gathering of persons who reflect Jesus' grace to a broken & fractured world.
