Passiong for Christ. Compassion for people.

Crosstown Core Value: Heartfelt Worship

Worship is a lifestyle of treasuring God in which we extend Jesus’ Kingdom into every area of our lives. Sunday worship at Crosstown is focused on God–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As God’s people, we naturally respond in awe and thankfulness for all that God has done, is doing, and will do. We express wonder at God’s majesty through both contemporary and traditional forms. “Shout for joy to the Lord; all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs… Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100

Crosstown’s worship arts ministry is made up primarily of volunteer musicians and tech teams. Regardless of your experience playing on a worship team or running sound/video, we’d love to get you plugged in with our worship arts ministries.

Crosstown’s Director of Worship Arts is Rachel Wilhelm.  Learn more about Rachel on our Staff Page.

Praise Teams

These teams are comprised of all ages, skill levels, and availability. Please don’t let any of those factors deter you. Our worship at Crosstown is one we refer to as “converged” (bringing together many styles, genres, and dynamics to exalt our Lord). We welcome any and all instruments at Crosstown. Let us know what you play/what part you sing and together we can figure out how to use the gifts the Lord has given you. We consider anyone on the platform playing an instrument, singing, or back in the sound and video booth a part of our team on Sunday mornings.

Crosstown Choir

The Choir has two “major” productions at Christmas and Easter. The choir meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday nights at 7pm from September-December and February-April. Whether you consider yourself a great singer, or one that should stick to singing in the shower, we want to welcome you to our choir. The only requirement: love singing.

Visual & Creative Arts

Do you draw, paint, sculpt, dance?  We value using the visual arts to create unique experiences and take our minds on journey’s to new places. If you’re interested in impacting the community of Crosstown through any artistic mode, please don’t hesitate to contact our Worship Director, Rachel Wilhelm.
